Adventure Zone Opens at Okemo! Stay At Our Condo Right On the Mountain At Discount Prices

Ripper or fly high on the Bungee Jump, and take in what

Good morning Okemo skiers and riders!

The weekend is finally here and with it more great skiing at Okemo. We are bringing
you four trails today, accessed by two lifts, uploading and
downloading will continue on the Northstar Express. While
downloading is certainly a unique challenge, trying to hold
all your equipment in your hands while sitting on the chair
is not the easiest of tasks, it is also an incredible chance
to see the mountain, the valley, and the lands beyond from a

new perspective!

 The views while riding down the mountain on
the Northstar Express are some of the best in the area. The
feeling of being up on the chairlift above so many of the
trees and having such an unobstructed view of so much is
really something that you don't want to miss out on.

Today should see warming temps, with highs reaching into the
50s by midday. The forecast is calling for partly sunny
skies, which will help keep the sun off the snow, making sure
it stays nice all day for skiing and riding. The mostly
clear skies and sunshine will make the views that much
better.

Burn Off Your Thanksgiving Stuffing! Okemo Trot It Off 5K Sat. Nov. 26th

Looking to burn off those few extra slices of pie? Join us
for ourAnnual Okemo Trot it Off 5k, held this Saturday,
November 26. This running/walking race is ideal for the avid
runner or the recreational runner. You may register at the
event in the Jackson Gore Cornerstone Room or choose
toregister online. Registration is $25 and all proceeds will
be going toward the Boys & Girls Club of Brattleboro.

We will also be having kids fun race which will take place just
before the 5k. The Tots Trot is for children 12 and younger.
Race registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and the Okemo Trot it
Off 5k starts at 9:30 a.m. Hope to see you there!

Okemo Opens Timber Ripper Mountain Coaster!

We also have theTimber Ripper Mountain Coaster open this
weekend!You can buy tickets for the coaster at the Jackson
Gore Resort Services desk. Guests load and unload the
sled-like cars of the Timber Ripper in the Jackson Gore base
area, near the bottom of the Coleman Brook Express lift. The
ride starts with a five-minute, 1,600-foot climb followed by
a 375 vertical-foot descent along 3,100 feet of track that
follows the contours of the mountain with added waves, camel
backs, banking loops and a "twister" section. The sleds can
attain speeds of up to 25 mph, but the driver is in ultimate
control of their sled with a unique hand-breaking system.
Come bring out your adventurous side today from 12 p.m.-5:00
p.m., Saturday 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., or Sunday from 12:00
p.m.-5:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at $13 for drivers, and $9
for riders.

White Friday at Okemo Mountain Resort

It's day two here at Okemo Mountain Resort! Hope everyone
enjoyed their Thanksgiving with friends and family. We had an
incredible opening day yesterday with great snow and smiling
faces. We'll be kicking off day two here right, with a
projected forecast bringing us sunny skies and a high of 48
degrees.

Lifts will be opening at 9:00 a.m. We have the samefour
trailsopen as we did for opening day;Buckhorn, Upper World
Cup, Drop Off, and Countdown.Our two lifts running are the
Northstar Express Quad and Glades Peak Quad. Skiers and
riders will be transported by shuttles from the base lodge to
the Northstar Express Quad, and uploading to the summit. We
are offeringthree park features(flat box, flat rail, and a
cannon), located on the hill by the top of the Northstar
Quad. There is no beginner terrain available today.Lift
tickets are $39 for adults, $34 for young adults and seniors,
and $27 for juniors and super seniors.
